I tried performing the factory reset and it did not fix the problem that
I was encountering so I uninstalled slimserver ver 6.2.2 again and
restarted the computer. Then I disabled the antivirus auto protect and
internet worm blocker features in NAV 2006. I then unplugged the power
cable from the SB3 and then reinstalled slimserver on my computer.
Once slimserver was reinstalled on my computer I performed a factory
reset on my SB3 and went thru the complete setup procedure for my SB3.
Once connected the the wireless network I tested everything out and it
was working fine. Then I enabled the anti virus auto protect feature
on NAV 2006 again and tested out my SB3 to see if it would play more
than 1 song and it did. I then enabled the internet worm blocker
feature in NAV 2006 (I programmed in a general rule for ports 3483 and
9000 both tcp/udp) and tested my SB3 again to see if it would work fine
and it did. I then restarted my computer with the antivirus and
internet worm features in NAV 2006 enabled to see if this would cause
me to get the same problem as before and my SB3 was working fine.
After testing out the SB3 for about an hour I shut down my computer
again and restarted it back up and my SB3 is still working fine so it
seems as if by reinstalling slimserver and performing a factory reset
on my SB3 the problem that I was encountering before has been solved.
Thank goodness.
