This wappears to be a problem with Foobar, rather than SlimServer, but would like someone to confirm that this is th case.
I had been addding tags for volume and album gain using MP3Gain, but found that some of these were not being read by SlimServer, i.e. looking at the track in MP3Gain it was clear that the information was there, but browsing the file info in SlimServer did not show these tags. I have now started using Foobar. Everything is fine, however it seems to remove the YEAR tags when I apply the ReplayGain tags. I have to add them again. My music is in MP3 format.
