No, it doesn't indicate that at all! It means there was something wrong with those specific displays, which we later traced to a manufacturing defect in a chip inside the display glass. The displays are specced to run from -40 to +85 celcius, (-40 to 185 F), and all the internal components are rated roughly the same. Those bad displays were blanking out at just a couple degrees above room temperature. I haven't heard of any problems running SB3 at high temperatures and I don't think 115F would be any problem at all. We haven't stress-tested a large sample at high temperatures so I don't know the typical limit but it should be well beyond that. Unless you notice erratic behavior, the only thing I would worry about is if you're drinking enough water. :) -- seanadams ------------------------------------------------------------------------ seanadams's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24371 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
