I think it would be worth testing to see what happens if you stream WAV
as WAV, AIFF as AIFF.  If the stuttering goes away then it probably
means your server isn't able to keep pace with the transcoding.  Not
highly likely, since FLAC encoding doesn't require a lot of horsepower,
but worth a look and it could be attributed to other problems on the
server - insufficient memory, poor disk performance, etc.  On the other
hand, if you're having wireless communication problems then I'd expect
the stuttering to be worse when streaming uncompressed.
