You could send any songs you don't like to the "zapped" playlist (press and hold "add" while the song is playing). Then use the 'skipped zapped songs' plugin (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=23175) to have slimserver not play them. I haven't tried the plugin myself so I'm not sure if they still appear in your collection when you browse, but you definitely won't hear them in your random mixes anymore.
