The big Q though is whether Slimserver tries to read V2 before V1. If it does, seems like V1 should peacefully coexist just fine. On the whole, I think slimserver reads my file metadata very cleanly, but once in a while I see a quirk that I've attributed to a potential ID3 tag confusion issue...
