Well, it happened again this morning - did a full clear and rescan and all the playlists disappeared. Opened each playlist up, resaved it, did a playlist only rescan, and they all reappeared.
What's strange is that I can't see anything in the log of the first scan that would explain where it's falling over, but something defintely isn't right.
