I don't suppose anyone has implemented an MPD emulator plugin for slimserver, have they? I would get a squeezebox for my living room if I could control it with arbitrary mpd clients from my laptop, etc. I'm not sure what would be involved in writing one, but I'm sure I could hack something together to get the functionality I cared about, but generally after I reach that point I never get around to cleaning up the code for distribution.
