You have to install that module and then see if there is another one
missing. Some modules depend on others.

As far as I know there are two types of Perl modules.

The first consist only of Perl source files and will therefore work on
any platform and do not need to be compiled. Just installed (that should
be possible on the DS).

Others come with binary libraries written in c for example. The
libraries (usually just one) have to be compiled in order to work on a
certain platform.

In your case the perl binaries come from Debian GNU/Linux so the needed
perl modules might be available on Debian mirrors. Check
http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages and look in packages of the
"stable" distribution/release. The platform would be "PowerPC" (ppc).

The .deb packages is an "ar" archive. In Linux you can do "ar x
xxxxx.deb" and get a data.tar.gz which will contain the module and all
necessary files. These have to be copied to the right directory on the
DS.

A good resource for Linux on the DS is www.nslu2-linux.org. There is
also a page on SlimServer there. Also see the README.ssods.

Good luck and happy hacking! :-)
