I received the announcement email for the 6.3 release in the discuss and beta mailing lists, but I don't recall receiving a copy from the announcements list.
Maybe there's something wrong with my account - did one get sent? I think I set up announcements to go to my main email address, whereas all other mailing list posts go to a separate account. I tried to find the page on the website where email lists are subscribed to - it used to be really obvious, but now that the focus is on wonderful forum technology, it seems that the mailing list subscription control page doesn't exist anymore. People who only signed up for announcement mails and never revisit the forums will never know there's a new version!
