Hi, This is extremely easy using itunes. Anyone wanting to sort their music collection meaningfully should consider itunes. OK, some people don't like apple, and some file types are not compatible with itunes, but for sorting your music into categories and playlists there is none better. As an example I have about 10,000 tracks organized on two seperate servers (3000 lossless and 7000 maximum quality MP3) on top of which is about 80 playlists. Flagging favourites would be a very pale alternative.
