They'll all have a unique path/filename, so it's no problem.  For
sanity sake I'd make sure that they're all tagged with a track number,
otherwise you won't be able to tell them apart in search results.  I
have a number of albums with more than one version of a song and the
tags are identical except for the track number.

Thanks, it did work as you describe. I tend to listen to a whole album at a time, so leaving the original names will be okay.

I did run into another issue which is getting old... the one where if you alter the tag of an item, it creates a duplicate. I downloaded a couple of tracks from Dealership's website, and one of them had an Album tag that I didn't like, so I ended up with this under Dealership:
All Songs
Action/Adventure
Album
Extras from dealerkids.com
TV Highway to the Stars

So I went to the track, edited the album tag to also say Extras from dealerkids.com, and looked again. I now have two Dealership artist entries -- the first reads:
All Songs
Action/Adventure
Extras from dealerkids.com
TV Highway to the Stars

and the second reads:
All Songs
Extras from dealerkids.com

Browsing to the song level does nothing to fix this, the only cure I've found is to wipe the entire database and start over.
