upnp is universal plug and play, and it seems to be a networking feature that microsoft is pushing.
i have an older linksys router, but i have the feature, and its enabled. i don't think u need to install it separately in XP, but there are extra bits u can install, (again, maybe not necessary). i would try enabling it in your router first, and then try as kdf suggests, disabling it in the command line. -- MrSinatra www.LION-Radio.org Using: Squeezebox2 w/SS 6.3 - Win XP Pro SP2 - 3.2ghz / 2gig ram ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MrSinatra's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2336 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=25465 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
