you sohlud definitely get a message in the event log if Slimserver is dying after start-up. Are you sure it starts at all?
Go to the Services control panel. Type Start->Run->Services.msc When this applet opens, scroll down until you find the Slimserver entry. Does it say Slimserver Startup type is set to Automatic, Log On is set to Localsystem. If so right-click on the entry and select Start. After a few seconds, the Slimserver service should change to started or you'll get an error dialog telling you why it couldn't start. If the services starts & dies, eventviewer will have an entry. -- oreillymj ------------------------------------------------------------------------ oreillymj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=699 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=25596 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
