Hi, I used to have the local weather forecast as my "standby" screensaver, but it may have been pre-qnap.
I have registered with Weather.com and put the rss for my local area into rss feeds - but there doesn't seem to be a way of just selecting this one feed. Selecting RSS news ticker as the screensaver loops through all the rss feeds listed in home / server settings / plugins. Could someone document the correct way to get the weather feed onto the Standby screen - so that the time and weather are shown, and stay there. Additionally I have put in a plugin request to Paul at Prog AV for WeatherTime screensaver which fetches the data from weather.com and shows graphical icons on your squeezebox display: http://inside.glnetworks.de/2006/03/11/weathertime-screensaver-plugin-for-slimserver As a side comment, it takes me and I am sure many others a while to try to find answers to questions relating to Slimserver running on the TS-101. I can't help thinking that all the information that is splattered in this SlimDevices forum thread could be better indexed. I have the ability and resources to put something like a dedicated qnap - slimserver wiki into place if enough people think it would be useful.
