Well, to be honest I had DD-WRT installed and the transmit power
increased within the first 15 minutes of powering it up so I don't have
a good baseline for comparison.  I would have to say that it is no
warmer then I would expect, definately not hot. I may roll it down to
50 now that you have put the idea in my head to see if it gets any
cooler.

I have my router in my basment, and used to see between 1-2Mbps in my
second floor bedroom with my Netgear WGR614. Now with DD-WRT @ 70mW on
the WRT54g v.1 I see between 18-36Mbps in the same location.
