I think you are referring to the "Law of deminishing returns" and I totally agree. Like everything else, selling to audiophiles has a lot to do about marketing. Personally if I dole out the bread for a transporter, hook it up to my Bryston preamp and due A/B comparisons with my SB2 and don't here a difference, I probably still won't return it. I like the looks of it (from the pictures of course). Am I willing to pay that premium?
