VPC sucks. Windows runs so slowly that it would be easier to draw a picture of the album cover and guess the track listing. Plus I'm not sure it's even compatible with Intel Macs.
I haven't tried Moose using Parallels but it should work just fine. And of course with Boot Camp, a Mac is a full Windows PC so Moose would operate just as you've designed it to.
