Mark, Just tried it and now I'm starting to see what is going on. Windows Media Encoder is running on a machine, and Windows Media Player running on the same machine can "see" the URL to play the stream.
But any other machine on my network doesn't see the stream using WMP, so I'm assuming that is also why the SB3s can't see the URL either. The firewall on the source URL machine is open for the port and the router is reporting UPNP is being bnroadcast for the port from that machine. But no one else on the network can see it. If you have any thoughts your input is greatly appreciated! Also, after I read your posts and started searching using some new keywords (like icecast) I started to see the threads form previous attempts to make this kind of setup work.
