If you simply want to log in over a system called ssh you can use a windows program called PuTTY. It is an ssh client. It gives you a command line interface to your linux box.
If you are not happy doing everything over the command line, you can use vnc to communicate. Shame the rest of the thread got so off topic about power supplies.
