Understated (provided you don't go for the flashy colours, look at the
bottom of the page), extremely good audio quality, comes with a very
good tuner. NiMH batteries and AC adapter included.
It isn't stereo, but you're not getting much stereo separation out of a
boombox anyway.

I have a Tivoli Mark Two with subwoofer, and a pair of Edirol MA-20D's. Either would meet the requirements, though I assume you're not leaving them out in the weather, both are too nice for that. Both sound fabulous, but the Tivoli adds radio capability.
