I have a project that I have been cooking away at, that I intend to
release when I am happy with it. It will query the DB (if you are
using mysql / I have not tested it with the stock DB) and create a
page in a PDF document with the cover art, a barcode of the album id,
a barcode of the artist id, artist, title, and a track listing one
page per album. It will also create an index of artists and albums at
the end.

It "works for me TM" but will honestly take some doing to get it
setup, I don't have it cleanly polished and packaged. I have only
tested it on Fedora core 4 Linux, but it should work on most Linux
variants. Some porting would be required to make it work under
cygwin/windows.

Let me know if that's something you would be interested in trying and
I will send you a copy to be a guinea pig.

All,
Not sure if this has been asked before, I wonder if there's a way to
get some kind of "reports" or catalogue out of slimserver software? I
have thousands of album on my hard drive and I want to generate a
report sorting each album by its name, or by its artist.

Is there a way of doing this?

Thanks
