slimserver-convert.conf can be modified to adjust the volume on Alien BBC - see the comments in the file: # To boost volume, change resample=44100:0:1 to volume=x:sc,resample=44100:0:1, where x is a number e.g. 8 I have used x=10 but you may need to experiment to get the levels you want.
