The usual to make this work is to ensure that the track names have the track number included: eg "01 - Ruby Tuesday". Most rippers will do this for you automatically. This means you will get the tracks in the right order if you use Browse Music Folder, and is probably good practice anyway for other arbitrary players that might not read tags. Having said that, I do agree that getting tags sorted out is a good idea! (And, BTW, all my "Greatest Hits" albums are renamed to include the artist name).
