I don't know the details of your setup, but the SqueezeBox is a slim device. Literally, it is fairly dumb. It needs the server software to feed it music from your network disks, internet radio, etc.

But the software is free, fairly easy to install, and you can try it
before you buy. Just use either SoftSqueeze or a streamer (I use WinAmp)
as the client instead of the SqueezeBox hardware.


2 – I pay a subscription to Digitally Imported music for CD quality

I'll have to let someone else handle this one.
