Hello all,
i have a problem with the option "music folder". if i use a path on my
local harddisc, slimserver accepts the change of the music folder
option. but if i use a directory on my external usb HD, slimserver
begin to scan the folder (hd activity led is blinking) then stops
scanning after 10 seconds and also stops the service.
when i now restart slimserver, the music folder path is still the old.
it works fine with other drives or paths, like network drives.
is this a known problem or bug? how can this problem be fixed?

sounds like a permissions error. Tell the service to run as you.
