I have been running a DI624 for a couple of years. With the Squeezebox it has worked quite well - the limiting factor being the computer (doesn't like backing up and running DRC at the same time, but then it is 4 years old and due for upgrade).
I have not noticed any slowdown in my wireless network since I got the SB3. We had 6 computers on the internet last week and 4 were wireless. I played with the channels and selected one that wasn't in use in the neighbourhood already - just in case. I run the Dlink with Super G without Turbo and extended range mode enabled.
