Well, here's one answer: -Before you do anything else, connect the AC adaptor to your chumby and plug it in. Your chumby does have a battery for temporary loss of AC power, but if you run the chumby off the battery alone you might get an hour out of it before you're looking at a blank, lifeless screen.
