Hi, Thanks for that, I've changed it, and I guess it must be working as I am getting smooth streaming now although curiously the player is still displaying "stream 320kbps" for the track information so it must still send that even though it's downgrading..
This is working with windows media player which I don't really want to use. I'd like to use itunes or better still softsqueeze. However I still get continual re-syncing and hesitating through itunes? I can't get softsqueeze working for some reason. I know it has SSH built in now, but I want to use my own PuTTY sesion as I use it for remote desktop and other things. Can anyone tell me exactly what I put into the softsqueeze config to make it work? I've tried localhost, localhost:9000 localhost:9000/stream.mp3 etc but to no avail.
