SlimServer scans when you tell it to use iTunes, particularly as

Hopefully Slim Devices can comment quickly. I won't go back to iTunes
6.5 just yet - it's not worth the trouble.
We haven't found any issues with iTunes 7.0 compatibility here yet.
Can you give some detail about the behavior you are seeing and how
you've got your music set up?
