As I continue to scan more and more of my CDs (over 1,000, I an at
500-something) the browsing performance of Slimbox-Slimserver when I go
from Browse to Browse Folders is becoming very cumbersome. There's a
looong wait as things seem to spin up. Any performance tweak
suggestion? I use an external NAS, and have already allocated some
extra memory blocks to Slimserver... anyone have any experience
suggestions etc with parameters that greatly improve browsing speed?

Browse Music Folder is always slower because it does what it says instead of leveraging the database. Browse Artists/Albums/Genres/New Music/Years should be faster.
