I have used the files at http://sshwindows.sourceforge.net and they do work very well once you get everything configured correctly. Permissions are a real bugger, at least in my case. I configured the use of RSA keys and the program was very picky about directory & file permissions. As I recall the errors generated were a bit vague... read the docs carefully.
FWIW, I also seem to recall some minor vulnerability with OpenSSH 3.8a although I may be wrong. The latest version is 4.3 and this is an old compile from '04. You might want to explore WinSSHD at http://www.bitvise.com . I downloaded a trial version some time back and setup was very easy. The server price was very reasonable and I think the client was free for personal use, but shortly thereafter I converted the Windows box to Debian so I never purchased. -- bishopdonmiguel ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bishopdonmiguel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=278 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27583 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
