You can read the MAC address from the back of the Squeezebox and enter it manually into the allowed devices table on the Netgear admin pages. I did this for my Squeezebox and a PSP when I was only allowing certain devices to connect. I've since changed to a BT Home Hub to get higher download speeds, so that's all from memory.
