I'm in the process of ripping my CD's in FLAC. I'm not quite sure yet what categories to use. I want to keep it as simple as possible and as functional as possible. I also want to use them for dynamic playlists.
Here are some categories I'm playing with. - Chanson (francophone songs) (I'll probably also use the "franco" genre for those francophone rock songs that aren't chanson in the strict sense.) - Jazz - Actual - Classical; Baroque - Classical; Classical - Classical; Romantic - Classical; modern (Don't know yet if I'll add "Quartet" or "Piano" in the "genre" or in the "comment" tag field.
