I have upgraded to 6.5.1 and iTunes 7.0.1, running Mac OSX 10.4.8. Ten percent of my music, about 80 albums, is labelled as "No Genre" in SlimServer. Thats goes for all sorts of genres from iTunes. The formats are MP3, AAC and ALAC. The MP3´s have IDtag v. 2.3. (Same problem with v. 2.2.)
The problem was the same with SS 6.5.0. Someone mentioned having success with upgrading to 6.5.1 running on Windows. But the Mac is maybe a different beast altogether? Does anyone know what troubleshooting I should try?
