Fed up with all the recent problems, I decided to remove and reinstall from scratch. Having done so, and launched Slimserver for the 'first' time, it is off and scanning before it launches the interface - which follows some 20 mins later after it has scanned. BUT I wanted it to use the iTunes database! What a waste of time. And now it will have to rescan. Can't the new install be programmed ask this key question before it rushes off scanning?
