I don't see any use for that. Get rid of those tags and you should be fine. Some time ago there seemed to be a common misunderstanding that compilations need the album artist tag to be set this way to work properly. But that was several releases ago. Just make sure all tracks from the same album are in the same folder and slimserver will recognize them as compilation.
