That's a new one. It's very hard for me to imagine anything that could go wrong in the Squeezebox which would cause one channel or the other to go out like that. S/PDIF, particularly the way SB3 generates the signal, is just not really subject to that kind of problem - you either have the data or you dont, and there's nothing special that makes one channel different from the other. Some ideas which might shed some light on this: - Try a different source component to verify that the problem isn't in the speakers - Try SB3 with a different receiver - Next time it happens, instead of rebooting the SB3, try unplugging and re-plugging the s/pdif cable. - Try a different cable, or different type of cable (eg optical instaead of coax). - Next time it happens, try playing something at a different sample rate (48KHz or 32KHz material) and see if it starts working again. This causes the interface to have to re-sync. - Try toggling the l/r setting on the Meridians -- seanadams ------------------------------------------------------------------------ seanadams's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28738 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
