Wow, such enlightening replies! I didn't know there are such and such workarounds. I especailly like the "tune in" method. I will live with that. Thanks a lot. My problem is almost solved, yet I still think technically it would be possible to write a virtual driver for squeezebox to make it appear as a sound device under windows control panel.
