Hi smc2911, Yes, you are partially right, Red Bull was founded in the early 90's with a company from Thailand, think over a joint-venture. Dietrich Mateschitz promoted the Energydrink under the english name Red-Bull in Austria and then Europe. Officially Dietrich Mateschitz from Austria and T.C. Agrotrading Company Limited both hold 98% over the Distribution and Marketing. Unofficially the rumor goes around that Mateschitz holds much more than 49% but this is not really clear, who knows?
