I believe I've fixed it for me. The answer is two-fold.
Firstly get rid of apeV1 tags - (I use mp3tag to do this) and replace them with ONLY apeV2 tags. Secondly, make sure that only the <Monkey's Audio WAV mac> option is checked under <server settings> <fil types>. Works for me. Hope this works for you.
