Well, it doesn't -always- seem to happen.  I haven't been able to
reproduce it.  I just had a theory that alac decoding rather than
mov123 might be causing a problem, and in the other cases its possible
that transcoding was causing a problem.  In those cases more bandwidth
will be used on the network...
