I don't see much in the article that is inaccurate.  Let's try to avoid
turning this into a Java-bashing fest.  You can have multiple versions of
Java installed at the same time. As long as you didn't uninstall your Java
1.4 or Java 5 installation, go to Control Panel -> Java on Windows. Choose
the "Java" tab and choose the lower of the two "View..." buttons (the one
related to JNLP).  You should be on the "User" tab.  You should see at least
two lines, just uncheck the 1.6 version to force JNLP launched apps like
SoftSqueeze to use 1.5.

FWIW, Java 6 is a huge improvement for the main application I'm using
(Eclipse), even though I target Java 1.4 for my apps.  I'm sure Perl is far
superior however, and when Perl 6 is released SlimServer will run flawlessly
on it right away. ;-)
