Any reason why I can't downgrade to an older pre-6.5 version? Will my squeezebox he happy on the upgraded firmware and/or will I be able to downgrade it properly?
Instructions won't help you achieve this if you don't follow them. Did you, as kdf said properly configure your antivirus scanner? You mention the firewall, but not your AV product.
