I did give it a fiddle. It worked fairly well with the handheld skin. I think if someone spent some time making a skin for it - like the Nokia 770 has, it could be nice to use.
For me, it's not terribly useful as I currently have a laptop sitting in the kitchen next to the Squeezebox. I'd rather use my DS for playing games.
