Assuming you are in a country with 60Hz power, its a ground loop. If you are in England, and have a 60Hz hum in the land of 50hz power, then I don't know. Something changed. Unplug all your stuff, plug things back in one at a time. See what causes it. Change that thing. It is best to use a star powering scheme: run all your audio gear, amps, squeezebox, etc off the same circuit. Get a power strip and plug them all in. In the US, do not just cut off the ground pin (third, round connection on almost all power plugs). It is dangerous and against the Electrical Code.
