How the hell do you manage without tags?

QUE sheets seem to work well for me with WAV files.

Here's my 0.02.

Advantage of FLAC over WAV = little.

You think.
If you want to save space, you can turn disk compression on if using
Windows (I haven't tried this), although FLAC compression may be a
little more efficient for audio?

Standard compression is almost totally useless for audio and video, windows compression isn't any better than zip:

90212324 Jan 5 08:19 concerto.flac
204871004 Jan 5 08:19 concerto.wav
176709325 Jan 5 08:20 concerto.zip

So you save a lot of space and bandwidth for streaming. I also prefer to have my tracks in seperate files, so I hate the cuesheet hack.
Looking at the processes on my PC, I notice flac.exe is running, so I
assume WAV files are being converted to FLAC on the fly before sending
to the Squeezebox. I think you can turn FLAC conversion off for WAV
files if you want.
So you're using flac anyway ;)

Regards,
Peter
