So, there are two ways to access music files from 2 computers - map one drive to another and have access to all music at once, or use the remote to switch between computers.
Neither one is best - it depends on your situation. I was helping my son set up his Squeezebox for his and his wife's laptops. At first we thought we should map her drive to his laptop - until his wife said "What happens when he is out of the house with his laptop?" We went with keeping the machines separate so either one could enjoy music if the other machine was not there. So, SC53 - your suggestion has full merit.
