Hello! First one correction, i have a squeezebox 1 not 2. It doesn't support WPA and therefore i don't use the wireless network. But the slimserver and the squeezebox is in the same wired network. There is only a switch between the server and the box. Therefore the WOL (magic) paket should be transfered from the box to the server. If i use a PC in the same network to send a WOL to the server the server wakes up as expected but when i power up the squeezebox the server remains in standby and the squeezebox shows "Cannot find slimserver...".
So if i want to hear music i first have to jump up two stairs, power up my server then went downstairs again to listen music. That's not so good... Any ideas?
