You didn't mention what version of slimserver you are using, but this
sounds like a known problem in 6.5.0. It is already fixed in the 6.5.1
nightly builds available here:

6.5.1 is expected to be officially released in the next few days, any
nightly build more recent than Jan 15 is basically an exact duplicate
of what will be released.
